Garcelle Beauvais is excited to announce the launch of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s first official home decor collection.
Garcelle Beauvais has reason to celebrate amid the launch of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s Haiti-inspired home decor collection. Garcelle’s name has been hot in the press following the latest episode that revealed Erika Jayne’s drunken behavior at her birthday party. Erika riled up viewers after she flirted with Garcelle’s eldest son Oliver, who is married, and cussed at her 14-year-old son Jax. Garcelle confronted Erika about her treatment of her sons. But once the episode aired, Garcelle learned how funny Kyle Richards, Mauricio Umansky, and Dorit and PK Kemsley found Erika’s antics.
The two couples and Erika have been under fire for their behavior. It comes amid mounting criticism against multiple cast members about their alleged microaggressions against Garcelle. The week before the episode aired, Lisa Rinna was facing backlash after defending the predominantly white cast against criticism whenever someone feuds with Garcelle. Elsewhere, newcomer Diana Jenkins was also blasted for a shady post she aimed at Garcelle where she scolded her with details about her past donations to Garcelle’s home countries Haiti and Congo. Many have called out the consistent attacks against the show’s only Black housewife.
But Garcelle has plenty of more reason to smile after launching a new business venture that aligns with her passion for home design. On Tuesday, she announced the launch of Garcelle at Home, an indoor and outdoor home decor brand made in partnership with HSN’s Design Development and Global Sourcing (DDGS), People reports. The collection will be sold exclusively on HSN’s website and is “a dream come true” for the veteran actress and Bravo star. “I have been obsessed with home decor and interior design forever so the fact that I have my own line now is definitely a ‘pinch me’ moment,” Garcelle said while gushing about her new brand. The collection draws inspiration from Garcelle’s Haitian roots.
The vibrant colors and bold design patterns give a modern, tropical, lifestyle feel while representing Garcelle’s Haitian culture and upbringing. “As a little girl in Haiti, I never could have dreamed this big!” she said. The collection includes a variety of home decor essentials like beaded placemats, bedding textiles, throws, pillows, doormats, and other accessories. Prices range from $20- $130. “I love the textures and colors and prints and I really wanted it all to feel like an escape when you put it together,” Garcelle said of her line’s look and feel. It’s the perfect extension of her decorated resume of natural passions. “Actor, talk show host, and now, interior designer,” she said.
The big announcement comes at the right time. With all the negative press tied to Garcelle’s co-stars, she’s been receiving swarms of support from fans. Investors and businesses behind the home decor collection are likely pleased with all the fanfare around The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star. The ladies might’ve been trying to take Garcelle down in season 12. But the tables turned and she ended up growing more into a fan favorite. Garcelle now has a home decor line under her name and a room full of opportunities on where she could take this extension of her brand. Garcelle is playing chess with her co-stars, not checkers.
