What Exactly Is Amazon Warehouse?

If you’re unfamiliar, Amazon Warehouse is like a clearinghouse for great deals on “quality pre-owned, used, and open box products.” In many cases, these are items that shoppers buy, open, never use, but decide they don’t want after all, or gently used items (like popular electronics) that shoppers sell back to Amazon.

These are all resold via Amazon Warehouse, usually at a steep discount. Virtually anything that you can buy new on Amazon, you can also find on Amazon Warehouse. That includes everything from electronics and furniture to pet supplies and kitchen gadgets. The only difference? All the products are pre-loved (though many are like-new), and way, way cheaper.

Charity Aldergrove thrift store growing

Fibromyalgia Well Spring Foundation officially opened a new warehouse Saturday.

The warehouse is located at #2- 26004 Fraser Hwy.

Executive director Cheryl Young said it fills a big need for both the foundation and the Aldergrove community.

“We found we had a lot of things in various storage units, which had been donated to us. Our thrift shop is not large enough to have everything there, and obtaining a bigger store did not work for us,” she told The Star.

“Now we have the warehouse set up, and it is gorgeous.”

The warehouse has a lot of furniture available for purchase. Young said that the foundation has heard from many Aldergrove residents that it is hard to dispose of good used furniture, and it has also heard that many people who are moving need furniture.

It aims to fill the gap.

Because it is part of a warehouse complex, it will not be open to the public daily.

The landlord has given the foundation permission to open to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Donations can also be dropped off at the warehouse by making advance arrangements at 778-278-3697.

The foundation has usually taken part in the Aldergrove Fair, which took place this past weekend. It wasn’t able to do so because of the warehouse opening, but Young said having more people in town for the fair ensured that there was a good turnout at the warehouse Saturday.

The warehouse has much more than furniture. Young said there is a good selection of vintage books and vintage dolls on the second floor.

She said Aldergrove has been very supportive of the foundation and it is definitely “home.” The foundation also operates a thrift store at 2978 272

El Furniture Warehouse: Popular bar opening first Edmonton location soon

El Furniture Warehouse, a massively popular premium dive bar with super affordable food and a fun atmosphere, is finally opening its first Edmonton location.

There are currently six bars in the Warehouse family in BC, three in Ontario, five in Quebec, and one in America. There’s just one in Alberta, located on Calgary’s Stephen Avenue.

This highly anticipated new outpost in Edmonton will be located on the incredibly vibrant Jasper Avenue.

This has been a long time coming, and we can’t wait for it to open.

Not only is the food cheap, but it’s a late-night spot that always makes for quite the party. According to the El Furniture Instagram account, this will also be “Edmonton’s biggest patio,” perfect heading into summer.

The food here is very affordable and, surprisingly, really great.

Everything at El Furniture Warehouse is priced from $5.95 to $7.95, which means everything can be ordered for less than an astonishingly low $8!

Everything from the stacked nachos to the burgers and sandwiches and even entrees like the spaghetti and meatballs all less than $8.

It’s a great place to stop in for lunch or go in any day of the week until late and party. If you’ve never been to a Warehouse bar, you’ve got to check this place out when it opens.
